Investing in an Experience

This isn’t about social media, reels, or current wedding trends.

Imagine with me for a moment - it’s 1 week after your wedding and you are still settling down from that high or maybe on your honeymoon somewhere still.

Now picture yourselves together 1 month post-wedding, you adapted to living life with your best friend and are back to your daily work/life routines.

Fast forward and you are now making plans to celebrate your 1, 5 or even 10 year anniversary. You decide to pull up your wedding video, as a tradition perhaps. And for the next however many minutes you are transported immediately back to your wedding day. All the moments, feelings, and sweet and tender memories flood back in. You are reminded that it wasn’t just a dream but a real day with real connections and emotions. Maybe, you get to see yourself hugging a family member that is no longer with us or maybe hear the words you wrote for your spouse.

There’s a statistic that gets tossed around out there that the most common wedding day regret was not hiring a videographer. Sure, that may or may not be the case, but what’s critically left out in that metric is that hiring the wrong videographer could be just as a big of a regret. It’s not lost on me how much weddings cost. As someone who didn’t grow up with much, I’m incredibly aware of the cost of things. You will get married whether I’m there or not and I want you to be fully assured in your decision to add me to your wedding experience - as so many couples in the past have and do. I don’t have some calculated sales script or funnel I follow. I want to have a genuine conversation with you - to learn about you, your relationship, and the beautiful day you hope to experience. How do you want to remember it?
